Attraction: Punxsutawney Phil – Groundhog Day

The world most famous weather forecasting groundhog (maybe the only one), a superstar in meteorological circles. Everyone remembers the great movie “Groundhog Day – Und täglich grüßt das Murmeltier” with Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell.

Punxsutawney Phil only works one day a year: February 2nd. The other 364 days he spends in ” Groundhog Zoo,” a warm terrarium built into the Punxsutawney library. We were walking around, taking pictures of all those groundhogs and felt like we did this already days ago.

Located : US Highway 119, Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania

Directions : Downtown. At the Punxsutawney Memorial Library, which is on the east side of Barclay Square, which is on the south side of Hwy36/US 119.
