The 2003 Cobra raises the bar yet again, this time increasing the power output to a level never before achieved in a production Mustang – now 390 horsepower and 390 lb/ft of torque from the Cobra’s 4.6 litre, DOHC 4-valve V-8.
The ’03 Cobra features a standard 6-speed gearbox, exterior design alterations to the front and rear fascias, hood, rocker moldings and side scoops, and several new interior appointments. Since the original was introduced almost 40 years ago, there have been a number of Mustangs that set the standard for performance when they were introduced.
The 2003 Mustang Cobra is the new benchmark, proudly carrying on the tradition of Mustang performance leadership. It is the authentic North American muscle car.
