The famous XJ6 badge launched the first generation of Jaguar's flagship XJ saloon in 1968, and after a five-year absence makes a return to the Jaguar line-up in the all-new seventh generation car, which will go on sale next spring. The aluminium-intensive construction of the new XJ makes it up to 200kg lighter than the outgoing model, and is one of the factors in making it the most advanced Jaguar ever.
Jaguar Cars Managing Director Mike Beasley unveiled the new XJ6, along with the stunning polished aluminium XJ show car that introduced the all-new XJ to the world at the Paris Motor Show in September, on Show press day in Birmingham.

The XJ6 has all the refinement and performance you expectin a luxury saloon, but brings a new accessibility to XJ ownership, said Beasley.

In addition to the 3.0-litre V6 XJ6, the new XJ range comprises 3.5-litre V8, 4.2-litre V8 and 4.2-litre supercharged V8 models.
