Mazda Motor Corporation announces the release of the Casual-Stylish 'M' special edition model Demio that was designed with input from Misaki Itoh, the popular actress/model who promotes the Demio (known as the Mazda2 overseas). This new model goes on sale today at Mazda, Mazda Anfini and Mazda Autozam dealerships throughout Japan.
The Casual-Stylish 'M' special edition Demio features the aeroparts that add a 'cool' element to the 'cool & cute' attraction for females, while keeping the cute factor of the 'Stardust Pink' Demio, the previously released special edition Demio that also incorporated ideas from Itoh. The base model comes with stylish aeroparts - front aero bumper, side and rear spoilers, rear roof spoiler - that are on the "Casual Aeroactive" grade that is popular with women. The Casual-Stylish
'M' takes it a step further with a large driver's seat armrest, an audio remote control switch on the steering wheel and lighted vanity mirrors for both seats, as more female-friendly additional equipment. A comfortable driving experience is given a boost with the addition of an advanced keyless entry and engine starter system, an AM/FM radio with CD player and a water-repelling function as standard equipment. A leather key case embossed with Ms. Itoh's signature comes with the
vehicle as a special gift to customers.
Base model
The base model is the Casual Aeroactive Demio, which has a 1.3-liter DOHC engine, offered in the front-wheel-drive/four-speed automatic transmission, the two-wheel front-wheel-drive/five-speed manual transmission or the electrically-four-wheel-drive/four-speed automatic transmission version.

- Water-repelling treatment for the windshield glass, front door window glass and side mirrors

Body color
Four body colors are available with: True Red (new), Strato Blue Mica, Carbon Gray Mica and Snowflake White Pearl Mica.
Factory installed options
The S Package features discharge headlights (with an automatic auto-leveling function when low-beams are engaged) and front fog lights, along with 185/55R 15-inch tires and aluminum wheels.
