Nissan's new 2003 Frontier Open Sky, which debuted at the Chicago Auto Show in January 2002 will be available at Nissan dealer's this fall, builds on our innovation in truck design. Featuring a power-operated top that retracts with the touch of a button, the Frontier Open Sky is designed for individuals who enjoy the outdoors and the open-air feeling of a convertible.
Nissan's new Open Sky Frontier model takes the off-road enthusiast one step beyond. Recognizing that adventure-seeking individualists wanted to better connect with their recreational environment, for the newest in the Frontier lineup, Nissan designed a power-operated top that retracts with the touch of a button, exposing the cab to natural air and light - effectively bringing the outside indoors. The top can open as wide or as little as desired. Completely retracted, the roof opening
covers nearly five square feet. To ensure that Frontier's active owners have maximum utility, all Frontier open Sky models are equipped with the popular tubular style roof rack.
